Skala Marina: A small marina with fairly good shelter except from the strong gusts in the Meltemi season. It offers berths for all types of yachts, amenities, provisions and is ideal for an experience of nautical sports such as water skiing and windsurfing. There are holiday resorts near the marina and plenty of traditional Greek restaurants to pick from.
Stavros Bay: A deep bay at the south of Patmos with two beaches, Diakofti and Stavros beach. A great anchorage for all types of yachts and quite protected from the northerly winds. The holding is good and great for an overnight stay during your excursions to Psili Ammos.
If you find limited spaces in Skala or Stavros Bay, Merikas is the old port of Skala and Grikos Bay is a good anchorage during the summer months.
There are no Airports in Patmos, the closest one is Leros and Kos Airport which are also in the Dodecanese complex. Kos receives flights from Athens, Crete and Thessaloniki.
Patmos is connected by ferry with Ikaria, Kalymnos, Amorgos, Kos and Leros. If you want to take a ferry from Patmos to Kos, expect a little more than a 3-hour journey.
