Nauticat 33 is based in Crinan, a picturesque village in southern Argyll, on the west coast of Scotland at the northern end of the Crinan Canal. The yacht is generally available for charter from early May until the end of September when the weather in these parts can offer some superb sailing. Nauticat 33, a 33ft ketch rig motorsailer built in 1989 in Finland, with plenty of room for 4 persons to be comfortable over any charter period. Her motorsailer characteristics make her an ideal choice of yacht for exploring the Western Isles of Scotland, from Skye in the north to Islay in the south. Whether under sail or powered by her 90HP Ford Lehman engine she can almost go anywhere in any weather. The covered wheelhouse provides all the protection you will need from the wind, the wet and the midges! Heating is ducted throughout the vessel adding an extra level of comfort. The carpentry is teak and other hardwoods throughout and, in keeping with her well appointed interior, smart new upholstery provides comfort in the saloon and sleeping cabins. Two ‘heads’, forward and aft, with shower and wash basins provide the essential facilities. A large galley running the length of the saloon provides the cooking and storage space to prepare all meals. Nauticat 33 comes with a 4 person inflatable tender and 2.2HP outboard motor.
