A classic Australian wooden, working/ sailing vessel built in 1956 in Broome and has been making dive/snorkel/sail trips to the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns since 1988. She goes through a meticulous, professional, and complete refit every ten years and we have managed to maintain her original form (character) including her sailing rig. Since she was bui;t as a Pearling Lugger for the Broome, W.A. mother of pearl industry, this means that she used the now obsolete "hardhat" or bronze helmet dive gear of the last century. We now utilise the more modern SCUBA if you would like to include diving in your reef experience Her "old school" timber decks , structure, and sailing rig harks back to the old sailing ship days, making her the ideal vessel for an uncrowded, "hands on" (if desired) experience on the GBR.
