Polis went above and beyond to make our trip a special one! If we needed little things when we arrived, he took care of it. He truly cared about giving us the best experience and was a joy to spend time with in addition! I cannot recommend Polis and his boat more highly.

My family had a great experience of Sailchecker. Prompt answers to all my questions, a good choice of yachts and friendly service. Our skipper, Polis, was courteous, extremely professional and charming. All-in-all a great service and lovely holiday.

It was a fantastic trip! The boat was new and comfortable, everything was very nicely organized and our Skipper Polis was absolutely the best! He was knowledgeable, friendly and overall wonderful.

I had a wonderful time sailing in Greece last week. Elpida was an excellent resource person who answered all of my questions promptly and efficiently during the planning stages. Polis and his son Jason were professional, friendly, and caring hosts on the trip from Lefkada to Athens. I learned more sailing tips and appreciated their confidence in my abilities to allow me to carry out different tasks on the sailboat. The boat was comfortable, clean and in good condition. I enjoyed swimming most days in the pristine Agean and Ionian Seas. I am hooked on sailing and look forward to my next sailing adventure.

Have nothing but amazing things to say about our sailing adventure in the Ionian sea. From the start Elpida was on top of things making sure we were completely organized before the trip even began. Once on board our skipper, Polis, was amazing. Several of us had been on sailing adventures before and everyone agreed that this was the best one yet. We all learned so much about sailing. While our trip was pretty short (only four nights) Polis and Elpida helped ensure that everything was maximized to the fullest. We had such an amazing time, swimming, snorkeling, catching sea urchins, fishing, and even sailing the boat (everyone hoisting the sails and steering the craft)! We made memories that will certainly last a lifetime. Cant wait to go again next year!

Polis boat Guinness is in an impeccable condition! Everything works perfectly and everything is extremely well maintained, looks more like a private boat than a rental one. Especially things that we care the most on our vacations, like the freezer, the fridge, speakers, platform and passarella, electric flushing everything works perfectly.

Favorable recommendation : one is in clearly experienced , professional hands. We enjoyed a warm reception and attentive organisation all over the whole sailing trip . Everything was perfectly proposed and tuned in respect of the very different sailing experience of our passenger group ( and unstable weather conditions ) . Resulting in a certainly all but evident successful mission of pleasing the extremes Flip side of coin : control and attention is important to maintain a goal of upper quality and perfection , but needs subtle dosing to avoid the shadow of obsession.

We had two terrific holidays: one at easter for two weeks in the Ionian sea and one in the fall starting from Athens for a week visiting the Argolic gulf. For both trips, everything was clearly organized, they gave us good advices and the boat was in great conditions. I highly recommend this company to anyone.

Quite new (nad fast) boats in good shape and well equipped. Excellent advice from Polis Barbaressos, both before and during the voyage. These made out trip memorable and enjoyable.

We sailed in October 2018 with the 409. The helpfulness, competence and friendliness can not be better. The ship and equipment was also over the Saion in very good condition. Absolutely to be recommended and we have also booked again for 2019 at Polis

We have chartered a sailboat several times from Polis. Most recently, this was a two-week one-way trip from Athens to Corfu in May 2018. As always, the boat and equipment were complete and in perfect condition. The sailing trip was very nice. Particularly impressive was the channel of Corinth. Polis is very knowledgeable and gives very helpful advice. Based on these experiences we have already chartered a Sun Odyssey 2 times in 2019. The Sun Odyssey has a larger water tank compared to many other boats, which is very useful in the Greek waters.

We were Sailing the 409in June 2019. Polis is a very smart, helpfull and friendly guy with excellent advice for the region.The boat was in a very good condition and was very easy to handle even in stronger winds. Take over and return of the boat was quite relaxed.

We was sailing for two weeks in september 2019 with the sailing yacht sun Odyssee 479 Guiness. A great ship and a very friendly guy! The ship is in a very good condition and small problems were solved immediately. We would like to book again! Thank you! Otto.

Our recent two-week trip onboard the SunOdyssey 479 was yet another one to remember. Not only has the yacht been in consistently perfect condition throughout the past few years, but Polis has once again shown that he is immensely committed to the well-being of his customers. Communication is quick, easy and often humorous and his helping hands reach out to you even while under way. Combine that with a set of very detailed harbor guides onboard and his vast personal knowledge of the greek waters, and youre on to a safe and stress-free trip around the islands.And because I can rely blindly on next years trip being just as good, I have already booked with Sail Emerald again.

It was again a wonderful one way trip starting in Corfu and leaving the yacht in Athens Alimos Marina. This time we went with a flottilla of 3 Sail Emerald Yachts. Polis, the owner of the yachts, accompanied as a knowledgeable flotilla guide and explained the historical context of the places and monuments we visited during the trip. The yachts were as usual in a excellent condition and left nothing to be desired. Thanks again to Polis for the great offer, for the perfect flotilla leadership und not least for his sound knowledge of the Greek history. I already now booked again a trip for some weeks in the spring 2020 with the same yacht of sail Emerald.

Chartered the S.O 479 in June 2019 out of Corfu. She was one of the most well-maintained yachts I have ever been on.
